Welcome. Some major issues like ethics, individual rights, governance, censorship, globalism, misinformation/disinformation and corruption are sparingly covered because I live in the authoritarian police state known as Australia. Most Australians have no right of free speech, whistleblowers are usually jailed, and thanks to our E-Safety Commissioner, we can now, for example, be jailed for publishing images that show sea level changes over the last 50 years. In most Australian states, weapons of any kind are strictly regulated. In New South Wales, where I primarily reside, even slingshots are banned. Because archery is still tolerated and spearfishing is allowed, those weapons are unlicensed, but everything else is either licensed or banned. We are effectively run by the military, security services, police and judiciary. Inequality was baked into the system here from day one.

Australians are also subjected to relentless propaganda on all major platforms, and our two-party democracy has been subverted by globalists like the American WEF puppet who is our e-Safety Commissioner. The great majority of Australians have no idea how brainwashed they are, nor do they realise the level of corruption in every tier of society. Our history of genocide, corruption, coercion and injustice is still all-pervasive, and most people have no idea that the Australian Government a.k.a the Federal Government, and the Commonwealth of Australia are separate entities. Our justice system has been systematically infiltrated, our education and health systems no longer serve the public interest, and our right to protest, speak freely or express dissent has been largely abolished. Farmers no longer have the rights to give water to stock or crops without government approval, and have to be licensed and pay for water gathered in their own dams. Water rights are often now worth more than the land itself, and are increasingly controlled by corporations like Nestle. One has to wonder how they could prosecute wild animals for drinking it or waterbirds for swimming in it. They can’t of course, but humans they can. Did we get it wrong? Clearly we did!

What has changed? I think the answer is we became citizens of the world. The powers that be have decided that individual rights are out, free speech and thought are gone. The government decides your fate, and your life is in their hands. But is this the way we want to live? Why should someone who is a politician, a judge, a professor, an indigenous person, or a billionaire have more rights than other Australians? Similarly, equal rights can not make all of us equal. Companies can be prosecuted on environmental grounds, but how do you sue a volcano or a cow?

While I have separated subjects into individual articles, I would urge you to think about them as related to each other. For example, it is inevitable that AI will eventually utilise genetic engineering and quantum computing. These are not simple issues.

The major issue that concerns me is that individual rights have been eroded, and community rights placed above them. Because we are all individuals, the rights and beliefs that govern us cannot be one-size-fits-all.

We can set up systems that guarantee us food, healthcare, education, security and shelter; but we can also choose to be responsible for all those things as individuals, or as groups. The price is individual freedom. Should we take responsibility for ourselves or let the state choose for us?

What I would suggest is that we recognise this and allow people to govern themselves as small, discrete groups of like-minded people. That will not be possible unless we set some basic rules in place. The fundamental rule I think needs to be respect for each other’s rights. Unless we respect the right of others to survive and reproduce free of violence and coercion, we can’t expect to have those rights ourselves. This implies that if you are one of the millions who spend their days trying to work out how to kill people, you need to have a close look at yourself.

All stories have been researched to avoid misinformation, but they may conflict with “official sources”. I freely admit to holding the narrow view that facts are facts and truth is immutable. And unlike many, I don’t consider my opinions and value judgements as equivalent to facts. Don’t shoot the messenger – decide for yourself. Most of the material quoted is open to question and opinion, but on balance I have tried to stick to facts. Sarcasm and Irony will be employed regularly; they’re among the very few options we have in a world where truth is fabricated to suit an agenda and inconvenient truths suppressed. Please refer to context if you are unsure of the intended meaning.

What you will find on this site is freedom to say what you think – your views will be respected, and you won’t be censored unless you demonstrate reckless indifference to facts, peoples feelings, or the law. Any potential conflict of interest will be flagged in individual stories, and I would ask that others adhere to those standards in their comments.
